I took this crib back to Target on Thursday, Nov. 13, and was disappointed with the whole experience! First of all, Target only issued an in-store credit. But when I went to look at their cribs, they didn't have any in the store even close to the same price level. Supposedly, my credit would work on Target.com, so once home I shopped there and found a comparable crib for only $20 more than I had paid. But when I went to type in my GiftCard#, it wasn't recognized. I also learned at checkout that the shipping and tax added another $100 to the price, on a $160 crib!!! They don't have a ship-to-store option, and none of the under-$200 cribs are available in stores. Augh!!!! What am I to do now with a worthless GiftCard?! Unfortunately, to make matters worse, the closest Target is 100 miles from my house. Not sure how I'm going to solve this one ... :-(

One more thing, the return manager said this was her first recall. I'm sure there are a whole lot of these cribs out there and people don't know they're not safe.
