Uh, how about getting rid of the bumpers, which are a SIDS risk? This seems like just adding to the safety risks.

I agree. That door seems like one more thing that can trap a baby ... the same reason I don't like drop-gate cribs.

I think this is a great idea. We still use bumpers with my 1-year-old, and anything to make sheet changing would be great. Too bad this is our last baby.

I have the crib sheet set from clouds and stars which allows me to zip off the top sheet (even with bumpers in place, hypothetically) instead of changing the entire bed sheet. I think this makes so much more sense than inventing a trap door to avoid lifting the mattress/bumper off.

Interesting concept, but I can see how it could be a hazard especially as the baby becomes a little more mobile in the crib.

I think im going to get this crib!! I was looking for mod or unique, and this is definitely unique... I like the *easyness of the changing and seems pretty safe* as well:+) and a great price*~theres a good amount of matching dressers etc that can work with this.
