AP reports government to issue sling warning

A popular type of baby carrier may be next on the government's hit list of dangerous baby products.

The Associated Press reported yesterday that the government will issue a warning for slings over possible suffocation concerns. It's not clear that any particular brand or model is the focus of the warning, but sling use has risen in recent years as parents have embraced "attachment parenting."

It's only the 'bag sling' that they're recalling. The picture you provided is a pouch sling which is perfectly safe (obviously one will use their common sense and not do things like cook, operate a care or anything else dangerous while wearing a baby).
