I was reading the gowns section of your Bridal Bargains Book and wanted to share a great online retailer based in China. The website is lilywedding.com (Lily Wedding) and they make custom fit dresses, most of them for around $200.
My friend got her $150 wedding dress from them, and I bought a $200 formal dress to wear to a wedding.
You input all of your measurements and they make the gown to fit. You can even change satin fabrics to any in the colors in their collection. We both received our orders within 3 weeks. They usually come a little big just in case, but I had mine made with a lace-up back to accommodate the extra room. They are a great company and an amazing bargain.
Some of the styles are just awful, but many are very beautiful and stylish. There is no extra charge for larger sizes, and most wedding gowns come with a FREE veil and petticoat.
Shipping is $30, or free if the order is over $500. It comes direct from China in a simple brown package, but the quality is superb. They carry wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, mother-of-the-bride dresses, and limited accessories. They are definitely worth checking out!
